Legacy Negative Scans
Legacy Negative Scans
Colorcraft Lab can scan nearly any size negative, color and B+W. Below are examples of the different size negatives you may find in you family archive. The 1940's and 1950's offered larger B+W negatives from small box cameras. The 1960's and 1970's the cameras were smaller and often used 127 roll film or 126 cartridge film. The late 1970's through 1980's saw a robust offering of 110 pocket cameras.
Colorcraft specializes in film scanning. We utilize a variety of different scanning equipment to offer the best quality scans from your legacy negatives. We have custom made carriers for each film type that are matched to our scanners. All scans are corrected for density and contrast and color negatives are color corrected to restore the images as close to the original color and tones.

Scanning the camera negative can restore the images to their original beauty. Photographic prints from drug store and other camera stores were printed with technology of the period, using older chemical processes. Many albums and shoeboxes contain the original camera negatives, many still in the photofinishing envelopes! Scanning those negatives can bring back all the details of the images.
Colorcraft can scan your negatives bringing out colors and details never before seen. Our high resolutions scanners reveal color and contrast that was not possible until now.
